The Laughing Buddha

Describe your friend in three words - Large, cuddly and funny. Introducing the Laughing Buddha.

We were contacted a little while back by our client to ask about some unique gifts for some special friends. 

He had already made his pick on one of our Predator burners, but was looking for a custom 'Laughing Buddha.'

To be completely honest, Alex wasn't really sure how the design would transfer in to a wood burner, but when discussing other ideas with the client and we asked him to describe his friends in three words, he said "Large, cuddly, and funny."

With this in mind, we just had to revisit this custom request, as 'Laughing Buddha' really did seem the perfect representation.

Alex decided it was time to 'face' the humanoid challenge.

After days of blood sweat and tears, tweaking here and tweaking there, we are delighted with how this guy turned out.

Eyes wide and laughing and appearing to float whilst held (mostly) on his prayer beads.
